get-pot.sh issues and building the docs

Hi All,

I encountered an error when trying to update the pot files for Xubuntu
docs. Following the instructions on the wiki (
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DocumentationTeam/Translation ), I was trying to
generate a translation template by running the get-pot.sh script when I got
the following error message.

jim at metropolis:~/projects/docs/xubuntu-jaunty-yelpversion/scripts$
./get-pot.sh
index.xmlcat: libs/shipped-docs: No such file or directory

I checked this in a current version of the Ubuntu docs source, and got the
same error. Am I missing a step that must be completed before running the
script?

Also, the same wiki page recommends that docteam members install packages to
build the ubuntu docs:

"To install all packages required to build ubuntu-docs, including
translations, run:
apt-get build-dep ubuntu-docs"

However, the build-dep package does not exist (at least not in the Jaunty
repos). Instead, I get this message:

Couldn't find any package matching "build-dep". However, the following
packages contain "build-dep" in their description:
  libtest-harness-perl mpe-source audacious-plugins-dev devscripts
ladspa-sdk srcinst
  apt-rdepends pkg-kde-tools pbuilder-uml pbuilder apache2-src
build-essential

>From experience, build-essential and pbuilder look familiar for building
software - could someone please advise what software is required to build
the documentation?

Thanks for your help,

Jim
