Request for content addition

I have a simple request regarding the system documentation. I would like
someone to add to the "writing your own programs" section, which is
under "advanced topics". This section does not appear to have been
changed over the last two years, and I'd just like someone to add some
more IDEs to the C/C++ section. As of 9.04 it only mentions Anjuta. I've
had a rather nightmare-ish experience with Anjuta recently and it would
be great if someone would also mention the NetBeans and Eclipse IDEs
(along with links to the sites). I've wrote a small paragraph about
NetBeans at the bottom of this email.

In other news, I'd like to join the documentation team. I want to add to
the Python section, and also make a new section about Ubuntu game
development.

Thanks in advance.

NetBeans IDE

NetBeans is a free and Open Source IDE which supports many different
programming languages. You can download the C/C++ version from the
NetBeans site (http://www.netbeans.org/). Alternatively, you can
download the entire program from the Ubuntu repositories.
