Do we support enabling the root account?

There was an update today to the RootSudo page [1] on the Community Docs
that added info on enabling the root account. I believe this
circumvents Ubuntu's security model.
I know on the forums we don't support enabling the root account for
login, and apparently this isn't allowed on IRC in #ubuntu either.
Granted, the information is available out there on the internet for
those who want to find it, but should be allowing this information on
our docs? I don't believe so. Just because information is available
somewhere, and something is possible, does not mean that we provide it.
I think the info should be removed, there is already an explanation at
the top of the page as to why we use sudo and not root. We can
certainly expand on this as needed. If we take this approach, a more
official note should be added to the page telling users not to add info
on enabling the root account, and sign it as left by the Documentation
Team as official direction. This page may need a bit of an overhaul,
which I would be happy to do with the team's approval.
Comments?
