A couple months ago I put together a simple page on the community docs
[1], but I don't think there is anything in the system docs yet.  You
are welcome to use that page as a starting point.  bodhi_zazen, who
helped with the community doc re-org of the firewall documentation, also
has a nice blog post on Gufw [2] which could be a useful reference.
