Ubuntu doc poll

Hi Vikram,
I'm not sure if you are aware, but it is possible to view pages in the
wiki by popularity. Have a look at PageHits [1]
[1] https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PageHits
Also, Launchpad can be used to make polls, though I'm not sure how
complex they can be. If LP is sufficient for the purpose of your poll,
I would suggest using that instead of Google.
I don't think we need to prompt people for their Wiki pages or IRC names
as that is irrelevant material. Same with asking about being on
bug-control. I think you could expand on asking about what part of the
documentation people use (system docs, wiki, upstream documentation, man
pages, blogs, other un-official Ubuntu-related sites, etc).
I like the idea of getting feedback on what documentation people use
and/or find helpful, though I'm not sure about the best way to go about
it. Something like a rating system for pages might provide better
feedback about which pages are useful and which are not. Something like
a thumbs up / thumbs down for "I found this page to be useful" or "This
page wasn't helpful" may be easier and faster for doc users to work
with. That would have to be something integrated into the wiki though.
I'm not convinced that a poll like this would get enough feedback to
really be helpful to us, but that's not to say it might not be worth
trying. Let's see what other doc team members think.
