Direction of the Ubuntu system docs

Hi :)

Thanks :) I am not certain about the differences between the various copy-left
licenses. I think the BSD-style ones give the original authors recognition for
their contributions which makes it more difficult for Weeu (=wide eyed
end-users) whereas GPL is the other way around and gives weeu more control and
authors lose rights to their work. I am not certain tho and i have no idea
about how CC licences work but they are more recent and maybe learnt a lot from
the somewhat heated and endless arguments between the GPL vs BSD fanboys.
Regards from
Tom :)

No one is looking to change the documentation license. The documentation in
Ubuntu has been licensed under a Creating Commons CC-by-SA license for some time
now. I'm not even sure if it was ever licensed under a different license.
