Of course I did! I don't think it can simply be lifted into a
newtoubuntu document but it certainly gives us ideas.

Do they not ship ubuntu-docs? Anyway, my suggestion wasn't really to
try to replace the work that you are doing, just to use it. You could
still ship your solution with OEM clients.

This is a rather drastic proposal and one that I haven't heard before.
We can discuss it but I think it warrants a separate thread because
how we manage the package and our branches really has nothing to do
with what we are presenting users. It would require a complete
overhaul to our current working processes. I'll have a more detailed
think about some of your justifications and repost to a new thread.
