Latest Ubuntu - icons on a side panel

Hi Dan,
For the record this is not a support mailing list, in the future please
use the forums [1] or appropriate mailing list [2] (e.g. ubuntu-users).
You can use the classic Gnome desktop by selection the Ubuntu Classic
session from the login screen after typing your username. You don't
need to reinstall.
