How to access another Ubuntu partition

Hi Daniel,

the docs team are not a support mailing list. We just endeavour to keep the
instructions all updated :)

I don't use ubuntu (I use lubuntu, which has pcmanfm), I 'think' you have
nautilus on ubuntu. You may have 'places' listed on your task bar which
should list other partitions, else you can use a system utility like 'Disk
Utility' (Should be under system in the menu) to get the other area(s)
mounted for you so that you can transfer the data over. You will need to
get the 'old' partition mounted to be able to carry out the copy to the new
install.

I'd suggest the you ask on the ubuntu forum [1]. Or if you prefer IRC, they
do have an IRC channel on freenode #ubuntuforums

Regards,

Phill.
