Hi :)
I am not sure where the step would go or exactly what happens when you create a usb-stick.

You can edit the page yourself by going up to the top left of the page and click on "Login to edit".  On the next page, the right-hand side helps you create a new account.  If you already have a Launchpad account (for the Answers / Bug-reporting / Translations forums) then you can sign in with that on the left-side of that page.

You are the person best placed to edit that page as you are the one most familiar with exactly what happens nowadays.  If you want any help with wiki-editing then feel free to ask here or using their help system.  Here is probably best for now.

Thanks, good luck and regards from
Tom :)

Hi there Team
I have just followed the instructions on your wiki,https://help.ubuntu.com/community/How%20to%20install%20Ubuntu%20on%20MacBook%20using%20USB%20Stick

Following the instructions on this page helped greatly, but you left out the step about requesting a password.I am thinking "did I put a password on the USB Drive?". Perhaps my computer password?
None of those, I am assuming I had to create a password for my default login for when I boot up into Ubuntu for the first time.
I entered a favourite 8 character word, and that was not accepted, but a 5 character one was.

Could you enter a step in the instructions to cover this part?
Otherwise, for a newbie to Terminal, and with your tip of dragging a file to get the Path, it went well. Thank you for the help.

yours,Brook.
