I actually reported a bug on this same issue a while ago [1] and have
been following the conversation. However I went back this morning to
check the help page for text formatting [2] as it has lots of examples
and they all appear to work as expected. So I'm not sure when the fix
was put in place but I can confirm the issue does appear resolved. I
hadn't been checking regularly though so I have no idea when this came
through.
