I see this as a very welcome change that gives the pages some structure.
At the same time all those subpages would be up-to-date, or at least
accurate for any point of time.
For the non-release-specific pages (and the main pages), some tagging
could still be needed, but again, there would be less pages to maintain
the tagging for.
