One set of documentation needs to go

It would sure help if you would provide links to your references and extract
and include a specific example(s) of the contradictions.

Myself, I am looking at:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Postfix
and
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Dovecot
and
https://help.ubuntu.com/13.10/serverguide/postfix.html
and
https://help.ubuntu.com/13.10/serverguide/dovecot-server.html

but not without some direction as to specifically where to look within those
pages, or if they are even the correct pages.

Compare the community postfix and dovecot setups to those of the official
documentation.

Since all documentation is maintained by the community, can you be a
bit more specific? Which pages exactly are contradicting each other?

I agree that we should track down and fix situations where this
happens. The wiki pages really should first link to the core shipped
documentation when it exists and then expand upon that as needed.
