As I have done for the last two cycles now, I will also
create a preliminary version of the 14.04 help.ubuntu.com
content. Perhaps next week sometime.

Gunnar, as you and Kevin already know, but the list doesn't:
I am currently dead in water with respect to Unity Desktop
14.04, and have been since February 17th.
I use KVM / QEMU on an Ubuntu server 12.04 for my virtual
machines, and as of the above date nothing works.

For GNOME, things have been broken since about January
15th. There is a workaround that sometimes works, sometimes
doesn't.

At this point, I'm pretty frustrated about it, as so many
hours go by getting nowhere.

I do not need an Ubuntu Desktop computer to do my classroom
session on Sunday, since I am doing the serverguide.
