ubuntu 14.04 freeze

Hi :)
It is better to ask questions on Launchpad
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu
Ask Ubuntu
http://askubuntu.com/
or Ubuntu Forums
http://ubuntuforums.org/

The 14.04 was quite a bit heavier and needs quite a bit more hard-drive
space. The 12.04 could squeeze into 8Gb fairly happily. Also you might
have an old graphics card that doesn't work in 14.04.

I'm not sure how you fixed Grub but this guide might help make sure that is
not the problem;
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Grub2/Installing

So whichever place you ask the question in it might help to let them know
how much hard-drive space, how much ram and (if possible) some idea of what
graphics card you have.

Regards from
Tom :)
