Thanks for the link.  Amongst other things the discussion there reinforces
the requirement for access to the hashes via HTTPS.

Also, until now I wasn't aware of the direct links to huc/c/UbuntuHashes
from pages like:
    http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop

To me, both these aspects would need to be attended to before any change to
the page.  Plus it seems a HTTPS accessible page with the hashes is a
requirement, Perhaps the ideal solution would be for a Hashes Page to be
auto-generated as part of the release process.

In any case, I'll endeavour to make it a personal priority to maintain the
page more regularly.
