Fwd: Fwd: WikiGuide destroed by spammers

The nature of a wiki is that everybody with an account is able to edit
and create pages. Furthermore, this is the community wiki with no
official content whatsoever so it doesn't have a huge impact on anyone
if there are spammy pages; I don't think they are even linked to anywhere.

Setting up a system that created a bigger threshold to make any changes
to the wiki would likely turn off many people who are working on the
wiki now. Besides, that would mean there would be more work to moderate
the wiki. Who would sign up for that task? Judging by the interest for
this wiki currently, I would so no one would.

Cheers,
Pasi
