I can make the change; I'm just looking for some consensus from other
members of the ubuntu-docs team.

I checked the ubuntu-devel list and it looks like they're allowing the
signatures through and the archive grants access to them without any
problems. So I don't think there are any technical reasons not to
allow them.

Doug, Liz, do you have any objections to allowing the signatures
passing through to the ubuntu-doc mailing list?
