Dear Ahmed and fellow Ubuntees,

In response to your email, and in the spirit of encouraging young
graduates to the open-source industry; I wanted to know (and share) of
small/medium size companies working with this vision. If we are able
to come up with a compilation of such companies and a short
description of their activity and what aspect of that vision they are
embracing.
I will be happy to start, however my field of experience is extremely
tiny (2009 graduate) and primarily concerned with electronics, so I
can recommend a company that designs electronic devices and
manufactures its products locally. EGYtronix has two major products in
the market right now, an elevator control micro-controller based
module and a 15KW inverter. They are outsourcing manufacture to a
specialized plant in 6th of October.

I would also like to include in that list if they offer internships
for undergraduates or graduates, to help me find a job (i am not a
saint, i admit) and to post on student forums.

Cheers,

Ahmed
