Workshop Suggestions

Dear Ahmed Toulan,

This spice things up now, we have an expert here, my ambition to build
something like voxforge, or to contribute  Arabic section in voxforge, the
goal of the workshop is make the community familiar with the concepts and as
you mentioned to motivate people to contribute, specially you are going to
focus in egyptian colloquial Arabic.

The database I have is about 100 sentence, for about 10 friends of mine as
project in the college but unfortunately  the project topic switched and the
data, to build a directory assistance. but I do not need to depend in this
DB, because  it is customized for a specific application, and not suitable
for large vocabulary speech recognizer.

Regarding the license I am not good with the license thing but what I do not
speak about  commercial product ,
My ambition is put Arabic contributions to voxforge unfortunately it does
not have arabic in the list.

To sum up I think the idea of the workshop is clear now, and we have an
expert with us that could provide us support if he accept:)

I hope that the admin does not hate me now, because I expand this thread
with out of topic  discussion, but I found as well as Ahmed Toulan
contribution  is important to clear the goal of this workshop, to set the
expectation.
