SA,
About the Ubuntu Weekly Newsletter(UWN)[1], it is being produced in
many localized versions[3] and we might want to take the advantage of
initiating an Arabic version of it.
The only problem that stops this from coming to existance is our
capacity to participate, note that it's a weekly issue, though it's
not mainly depends on translation but rather collecting News in many
fields "in Arabic", which might require some more commitment.
So, the safest solution so far, is to prepare a list of jobs then
finding interesting people to each job. it's clear that as much
interesting ppl we have is as little pain we get.
The job list will be something like this[4], please note that it has
many unassigned jobs and it still works fine! :D and instead of
assigning only one person we can get 2 persons for the same job, which
makes it a lot easier! and safer too ;) after assigning ppl, we'll
start to collect news "in Arabic" then make our version.
Please note it's not about translation at all, the much Arabic+Local
news we have, the lesser translation we do! and in all cases we won't
translate much, I assume it'll be some few lines a week at most(<5
lines/week).

So, Who is interested in this???
