cursor que no desaparece

Hola, escribo por que tengo un problema que no he podido resolver, al 
iniciar mi ubunu siempre aparece un cursor a media pantalla, este 
desaparece al mover cualquier ventana y ya no vuelve a aparecer, solo 
aparece durante periodos de inactividad, si alguien sabe a que se debe 
se lo agradecería bastante, saludos.
