A mí no me daba ningún error, y la he probado (llevo probándola desde
la Knot 2). Para desinstalar la 2, tienes un bonito 'Agregar/quitar
programas' en el menú de aplicaciones, o puedes optar por 'apt-get
remove x', u otras mil maneras, para luego instalar una versión
estable.

Intenta instalar la estable y luego nos cuentas.
