xchat servidor freenode

[cursostm]

Hola amigos tengo isntaldo Ubuntu, pero cuadno trato de ingresar por xchat o
Koversationme da el siguiente mensaje

closed connection. Trying to reconnect.

Al servidorque trato de conectarem es Freenode, acasoel servidor esta caido,
espero sus respuestas
