tty+ncurses

Buenas gente, les cuento un poco, tengo una Ubuntu 7.04 castellano, y mi
pregunta es la siguiente, hay alguna forma de hacer que las aplicaciones
especialmente las que usan ncurses en las tty (crtl+alt+f1) se vean
bien...?
