Hay muchas maneras de hacerlo, también eliminando los linux-headers
correspondientes debería irse el kernel, y de hecho se va... Pero yo lo
haría cómo te he dicno
apt-get linux-image-xyzk
...
apt-get autoremove
Y listo, para limpiar el menú del grub, si es que no se limpiara -es que
yo no hago eso qué quieres hacer tú nunca, no me molestan los viejos
kernel, todo lo contrario-, pues
gedit /boot/menu.lst y borras las partes de los kernels que no te interesen.
