Hi,

Indeed, in precise, lightdm-gtk-greeter and lightdm have been split, and
I couldn't find anything set up in rosetta… In the bzr branch of
lightdm-gtk-greeter, there are only really incomplete translations, and
some bugs fixed in oneiric haven't been merged…

But the 5th string on
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/oneiric/+source/lightdm/+pots/lightdm/fr/+translate
is the mistranslated one (anyway, oneiric isn't a lts, so updated
language packs may not be generated ; feel free to close this bug).
