Probleme résolution ecran

Bonjour,

Je rencontre un problème que je n'arrive pas à résoudre sur un portable
Acer TravelMate 4672 dont l'écran a une résolution de 1400x1050.

L'affichage de gnome est en 1280x1024 et flou. Lorsque je me rends dans
Systeme>Preferences>resolution de l'ecran, le réglage maximal disponible
est 1280x1024, 60Hz.

Le xorg.conf, de son coté ne contient que la résolution 1400x1050 (c'est
le fichier généré lors de l'installation, sans aucune modification)
