Any privacy issues in UbuntuGnome 13.10?

Thanks. As you can see in the video, if you remove this privacy related
stuff, it removes the whole other application. I do not recommend Ubuntu
to my friends because of these privacy issues now, only UbuntuGNOME or
other non-Unity based versions.
