Difference between installation methods (16.04)

I haven't tested text mode install with 16.04 version of Ubuntus, but I
imagine it's still the Debian Installer with same tools deployed and
proved for Debian.

I've solved a lot of times specific installations and disk
configurations with DebianInstaller (alternate/netinst disks)
