[ubuntu-in] Problem while installing

I have 2 ethernet cards in my P.C.

Ubuntu was unable to set up network while while installation, so i chose the option "Donot configure Network Now" after that some process take place and the installation is hanged at 52% in "Startin Partisoner" process, I hav to manually turn off the system as it Hangs Up.
What to do, I have tried 3 diffrent C.Ds of ubuntu but same problem exist.

I want to side-by-side install Windows ME too on my system to provide a dual boot start-up--Is it possible???
