[ubuntu-in] Suggestions needed please

Hi,
I have 224MB (256-32mb(shared vid mem.)), even then feisty is slower. I use
gnome and xfce also. Xfce runs smooth on my machine to some extent :)
Xfce is indeed a good try for you, or you should consider fluxbox,icewm..
etc.
