[ubuntu-in] No Audio output with gxine

I have installed gxine as .deb package from packages.ubuntu.com in my
Edubuntu Edgy.
I does not make audio sound when playing mpeg and dat formats.
but it's working well with wmv formats.
What will the solution for this
