Am not sure I undertsand the flow of the conversation - did you come across
the ntfs-config solution after your first post or did you know it before, if
the latter is it supposed to be a test of the ubuntu skills of the people
advicing ???

if you says its better to go in for ntfs-config - why - what makes it better
than ntfs-3g
