[ubuntu-in] GPG error, Please help

hi everyone,

i tried to sign up as Ubuntero, but i was asked to provide my GPG key,
so i tried creating one using 

gpg --gen-key in ubuntu 6.06

i was unable to create one! :(

here is the entire snapshot of the terminal in which i tried creating the key,

kindly help me find the error!!!
it would be of great help if anyone can guide me in creating my GPG key.
i am pasting the entire snapshot below...

We need to generate a lot of random bytes. It is a good idea to perform
some other action (type on the keyboard, move the mouse, utilize the
disks) during the prime generation; this gives the random number
generator a better chance to gain enough entropy.
