Hi Roshan,
You should have posted the launchpad bug no. also. Would have
made it easier in 2 ways, one to subscribe to it & see if something
has to be done within the ubuntu package (connect with the ubuntu
maintainer) and secondly or/if something needs to be done upstream.
Also have you put the workaround there in the bug-report.
