Yes, it is a comprehensive source of information.
Perhaps, there's a wiki available at
http://wiki.ubuntu.com for more updated information.

The Ubuntu-in website also has quite a lot of
documentation. There are unofficial guides all over
the web. 

I think, it is the responsibility of existing members
to update the website (yes, including me) regularly,
with recent information pertaining to experiments
(trials) with Ubuntu.
