Install cups-pdf. since cups-pdf depends upon CUPS server it will
install server as well.
Now open your browser and type `localhost:631' in address bar. Here go
for `Add Printer'.
Then just fill in `Name' as cups-pdf and click on continue.
Then select cups-pdf virtual printer from drop down list.
click continue..
Then select `manufacturer' as generic... continue
Then select 'generic' model... continue
Then enter username and password.. most probably root user.
This should work...
If not...
then print file as .ps and then use `ps2pdf14' for converting ps file to pdf.
