Hello Ram,
AcidRip < http://untrepid.com/acidrip/ > is a good ripping tool for
ubuntu. You can install it using following command.

sudo apt-get install acidrip
===============================================
It seems that you had selected the first title/chapter of the VCD to Rip
thats why you are getting the Ripped version of the title ( some part of the
VCP ).
