[ubuntu-in] Refusal to boot onto Ubuntu-8.10

Hi Friends,
   I am struck with a worse situation please help me out.
I have installed freshly Ubuntu-8.04(64-bit),upgraded to
Ubuntu-8.10(successfully) with 4800+packages.
May be I was wrong in downloading "Red Hat Cluster suite"
and "cman" packages which I had installed.
  Now the Ubuntu-8.10 refuses to boot up properly,showing the following
messages:

*...
fence_tool:waiting for cman to start
groupd[15501]:cman_init error2
fenced[15502]:cman_admin_init error2
.
.
CCS[15506]:[CCS] Unable to connect to cluster infrastucture after 30 seconds
.
.
.
CCS[15506]:[CCS] Unable to connect to cluster infrastructure after 720
seconds

 And it seems to be a never ending process.

Please help me out of this situation.
