Just tried Wubi to install Ubuntu from within Vista, needless to say it worked well and i have ubuntu 8.04.1 working well, but the boot loader belongs to Vista :( and i want to change the boot order so that ubuntu boots by default and "While this is not a vista mailing list" would appreciate knowing how to put ubuntu *first*

seems like i have to find /windows/system32/bcedit.exe and edit that and its editing is not as easy as linux config files

will tell how easy it was not later ;-)

Search and download Easy BCD, it's a freeware from Neosmart Technologies. You can choose whatever OS you want to be your default OS.
