[ubuntu-in] Taskbar Problem

I agree with you I should have start with new topic thread.
f you can show the last section of Xorg.0.log > kindly indicate how to copy the log and from where?  I also selected to fix the Xorg option which appear in recovery mode  of ubuntu 8.10 but failed.  What is the short-cut for Screenshot to enable me to forward the same to you.

It would have been better if you had started a new topic for this.



I too sometimes face this problem of desktop getting freezed up. Right

click doesn't work too.

I googled and found out that the problem occours due to

bonobo-activation-server , but don't know how

I kill this process using

killall bonobo-activation-server



and then restart X using Ctrl+Alt+Bksp



It wold be better if you can show the last section of Xorg.0.log
