Hi,

It was working fine in Intrepid. Now in Jaunty,

Plugging Tataindicom Plug2surf USB modem gets trapped as //dev/ttyACM0/

Here are my /etc/wvdial.conf contents,

/[Dialer Defaults]
Init2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
Modem Type = USB Modem
Phone = #777
ISDN = 0
Username = internet
Init1 = ATZ
Password = internet
Modem = /dev/ttyACM0
Baud = 460800

/Issuing a /'sudo wvdial'/ command could not help connecting to
Internet. Here is the log that gets repeated,
/
--> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.60
--> Cannot get information for serial port.
--> Initializing modem.
--> Sending: ATZ
ATZ
OK
--> Sending: ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
OK
--> Modem initialized.
--> Sending: ATDT#777
--> Waiting for carrier.
ATDT#777
CONNECT
--> Carrier detected. Waiting for prompt.
--> Connected, but carrier signal lost! Retrying...
--> Sending: ATDT#777
--> Waiting for carrier.
ATDT#777
....
....
..../

Did anyone face similar problem with Jaunty? Any solution?

Trying it with Network-manager didn't help either.
