My dear brother Ashutosh,
Namaskar.
Actually i have Airtel mobile and i am easily connecting with it and
now i am writing to you via airtel mobile through ubuntu 9.10. I
connected the device in bluetooth and then clicked on connection icon
on panel and nokia 3110 was there to connect. No problem in
conncetion.

But actually i have to install updates and i can't do it through
airtel b/c it is slow connection and it will take days to download. It
is impossible.

So i want to download updates in cybercafe who has BSNL modem and
connection. They are telling me that there wifi is on and i should do
it via wifi. IP and DNS server no. are there's. I can't use username
and password. B/c they will not provide.

I can see that in XP OS easily they are just going in control panel
and puting IP and DNS no. there and it is working fine.

Is there any way to do this ?

Thank you for your kind help. It will help me when i will have my
broadband connection.

waiting for your further kind help
with regards
suranjan
