[ubuntu-in] keyboard problem

Dear All;

I have set up a Ubuntu as dualboot along with windows vista. I am facing 
randomly a problem of keyboard in the Ubuntu where some of the keys when 
pressed displays different characters. This happens only with Ubuntu 
after login. Even during keyboard tests also it is same.
However some times it works. But when it happens I have to reboot.
Please let know if anyone who has faced this kind of a problem.
