Hi All,

A few weeks ago, I shot off mails to the Ubuntu India, LUG Jaipur, LUG
Bikaner and ILUG Delhi lists, asking for help in organizing a guest
lecture by the likes of Jono Bacon/Mark Shuttleworth/Richard Stallman
for the technical festival of BITS Pilani, APOGEE [1]. Sadly, we
could not organize a guest lecture due to tight schedules of the
people we contacted, but we do have some good news for everyone. :)

1. OSSCamp Pilani:

OSSCamp Pilani is being organized on 12th-14th March, next week, as a
part of APOGEE. The event page [2] contains the planned schedule as
well as means of travel to Pilani. The schedule has been created so
that you can spend the day attending the various events occurring at
the festival, especially TEDxPilani [3] and the guest lectures being
organized as a part of APOGEE.

2. FOSS Den:

OSSCamp Pilani is being organized as a part of FOSS Den, the Computer
Science Association's initiative to promote FOSS on campus among
students as well as faculty members. Other events being organized as
a part of FOSS Den are:
- Focused sessions on Open Source through the use of videos,
demonstrations and other media.
- Open Source LAN Gaming.
- Installation Fest.

3. How can you contribute:
- Participate and conduct sessions/demos/workshops.
- Online promotion of the event through blogposts and social networks.
- Contribute Linux installation media and goodies.

For accommodation and other details, do visit the event page [2]. In
case of any queries, mail me off-list or use the contact numbers
provided on the event page.

I do know that this is a pretty short notice, but hope to see you here! :)
