Why don't you update to the latest version 9.10? In the latest
version, NetworkManager will make it easy for you to connect.

favourite search engine.
Also, help.ubuntu.com and ubuntuguide.org have quite comprehensive
documentation on ubuntu. Do bookmark them and more importantly, refer
