[ubuntu-in] OT - laptops in the 20 K range

5 Months ago, I bought Dell Inspiron 1545 N Series with 3 Gigs Ram + Core 2
Duo/350GB HDD in just 36K. I was supplied with FreeDOS. I installed my
Ubuntu 9.04 on it - everything worked like charm. (Except one issue
regarding PM and disk life, which I won't describe here.. but thats the
issue with Linux, not the hardware compatibility).

Performance is awsome.
Initially, Dell guys refused to sell any such piece without Windows. I also
asked HP, and they also said they don't have such model without Windows.
Finally, one Dell dealer said he would get one piece (with FreeDOS).

Just last month I inquire for its latest price. and its around 30000/- now.
