[ubuntu-in] Software installation Problem

When I start my laptop after the Grub Page
1) I get a black screen for some time
2) and then sometimes shows a message /dev/null not found(sorry for this
small information because sometime it prompts,sometimes it doesnt)
instead of the fact thai i havent messed up anything

Moreover whenever i try to install any software of update my laptop i get a
message

(On installation)
Requires installation of untrusted packages
The action would require the installation of packages from not authenticated
sources.
but when i click ok the installation fails

(On Update)
Many a time it is unable to connect to the server and also always the
security check prompts!!!

Please Help



I would Also be interested as in How to change the systems sound???
I also want my laptop to show all the installed softwares and there version
and currently running proceess before the splash screen , so what to do???
