The Redesign of Ubuntu-In is a Great idea..

First let me introduce myself. I am Ravi, Software Engineer and Architect in
a firm where OpenSoure == null-or-None. I never contributed much here. Never
interacted much with great people here. But I read most of the posts. This
Redesign project seems very interesting and I would like to contribute to
it, wherever and whatever be possible to me.

Before starting, why not we should gather some requirements and innovative
idea, and then plan the work, rather than just jumping in and start-coding.
It would be great to start by listing the basic requirements of site. Since
its a local community, we should focus primarily on information and
requirements around the users and contributors in India. Once its achieved,
then we should go for the solution.
After we have a direction to go happily, we can start working on the Designs
and Themes. And this will be one gradual effort to build something good.

So in nutshell, this would be:

   1. Brainstorming Sessions on what we should have, Requirement Gathering
   2. Cleaning and Categorising the things, and tagging it with priorities
   3. Work on basic Wireframe and Design Idea
   4. Development and Designing
   1. Mockups And Designs preparation
      2. Coding
   5. Draft Release (before we get live)
   6. And, Whoa.. Its Live now.
   7. Again run on #1 for gradual feature addon.

With a plan, we can build something good.

And yes, thats just my idea and you are free to throw it on my face. :)

Apart from these, why not we should get it on Django. There are many cool
developers here, who would love to devote their skills for a nobel cause.

Regards,
Ravi Kumar
